TIVERTON & DISTRICT ANGLING CLUB

Sunday's Pairs Final held on Bobslake at Little Yeo displayed the usual trend with bites hard to come by on the Dam section ( pegs 1-6 ) whilst the shallower end was somewhat more productive. The Lake looked immaculate thanks to our resident manager, Anthony, who had done a lot of work prior to ensure the place was in tip top condition and the weather was kind with no rain, just a steady breeze blowing into the outfall end.

   So winners on the day were Steve Barrell and Mark Branson who finished with 11 section pts (first and second in their sections respectively) and with an overall weight of 58kg. The runners-up in Bruce Hunt and Ian Williams followed suit with an identical number of points (first and second in section resp.) but with a  lower combined weight of 45kg.

   3rd spot went to Baz Barrell and Neil Raybould with a total of 7 section points and total weight of 21kg.

   Big congrats to winners Steve and Mark  and indeed to everyone who participated throughout the qualifiers in helping to make this annual event an enjoyable one !
