Coarse Fishing on the River Culm

There is approximately 1000 metres of fishing that extends from 60m below Stoke Cannon bridge to its confluence with the River Exe. Fishing from the right bank only.

This is best described as intimate on this small river fishery. Dace and small chub are common species, along with roach , gudgeon and even the odd grayling. Try trotting or using a small feeder with worm or maggots. The river here can rise fast in winter floods, but will fish well in the summer and autumn.
